About ABQ Education
We operate 3 international schools in Oman. We offer personalised, engaging learning in a caring multicultural setting.

The history of ABQ schools starts with the venerable Azzan Bin Qais International School – a pioneer and an iconic presence in the Omani private education landscape. Started in 1990, it is an embodiment of transformation and development of Oman as a country and its education system.
Azzan Bin Qais School was acquired by Al Omania Education in 2009, followed by a significant expansion and upgrade of the campus. Al Omania continued its commitment to the education sector by launching As Seeb International School – a state-of-the-art facility – in 2012. The third leg of the growth strategy was the acquisition of Sohar International School – the largest private school in the Batinah region.

With its impressive growth trajectory, ABQ is now the largest private school operator in Oman and poised for its next stage of success.
Given the stability and maturity of its operation and to enable its growth strategy, the ABQ is now launching the first true School Operator model in Oman – The ABQ Way. The model assures a consistent and robust framework for all academic and non-academic activities in each of our schools. The group has invested significantly in resources to develop a best in class educational philosophy and delivery model.
