Working at ABQ

At ABQ, we aim to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for both students and staff.

We believe our schools are appealing and rewarding places to work and employ more than 300 academic staff from 25 different countries. We provide you with ample opportunities to learn and develop, which results in a low staff turnover.

Oman is a fantastic country to live in and move to. It is cosmopolitan, safe and welcoming, with well-connected transportation and good infrastructure.

Our school buildings are equipped with modern, user-friendly facilities. Our average class size is 22 students per class. Teachers normally work from 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM. Teachers may leave the school campus at 4 PM. Each teacher also offers one after-school activity (depending on their interests and background), one to two hours per week.

Before each new academic year, we have an induction week, with special emphasis on newly contracted teachers.
