ABQ Champions Health & Community at First-Ever Muscat Glow Run

Muscat, Oman — ABQ Education Group proudly served as the official education partner for Muscat’s first “RUN” event, recently held at Shatti Al Seeb. The lively occasion featured glow-in-the-dark fun runs of both 5 km and 10 km, as participants donned fluorescent accessories and illuminated the track for a vibrant, community-centred celebration.

As part of their ongoing ABQ Wellness Programme, approximately 500 members of the ABQ community came together, some to run, others to cheer, showcasing the group’s commitment to nurturing a balanced and active lifestyle.

The event, which ran from late afternoon into the night, offered not just physical activity but also a festive atmosphere. Runners sported glow bracelets, LED headbands and other luminous gear, turning the seaside course into a sea of radiant colour.

ABQ’s role went beyond participation. Their presence as an education partner emphasises how the school group values more than academic excellence. It actively promotes holistic education, which includes physical health, community engagement and wellbeing for students, staff and families alike.
