Now CIS (Council of International Schools) Accredited
This past week, ABQ Seeb received full accreditation from the prestigious Council of International Schools (CIS). With this achievement, I am proud to announce that all ABQ international schools are now fully CIS accredited, confirming that our academic programmes, teaching quality, and both academic and non-academic facilities are on par with the best international schools globally.
We applied for this highly respected accreditation to have our internationals schools independently validated, reinforcing one of our core values of excellence, which is the golden thread running through everything we do.
The CIS is an independent organisation dedicated to ensuring that schools meet the highest standards in both education and student well-being. Through a rigorous two-year evaluation and inspection process, they assess schools on a wide range of criteria, including academic excellence, teaching quality, student services, and campus facilities. Only those schools that excel in every area receive accreditation, making this a mark of distinction for ABQ international schools.
This recognition not only reflects the quality of education we offer but also strengthens the future prospects of our students. Universities worldwide actively seek out students from CIS-accredited schools because of the high standard of international education they receive. These students are known for their strong academic foundations, their ability to navigate and thrive in diverse cultural environments, and their holistic preparation for success in a globally connected world.
We are proud to be among the select schools in Oman to hold this accreditation: ABQ Azzan Bin Qais International, ABQ Seeb International, ABQ Sohar International, the American British Academy (ABA), The Sultan’s School, Al Sahwa Schools and Al Batinah International School
This achievement reflects the dedication of our teaching staff, the efforts of our students and the unwavering support from you, our parent community. It is a testament to the strength of the partnership between our school and our families, and it assures us that we are offering your children an education that meets world-class standards.
