The school is opening at the start of the new academic year in August 2023.

Imtiaz means unique, distinct and exceptional. We recognise that each child has unique strengths and needs. We have high expectations for all students and encourage each student to achieve his or her best.

• KG: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Grades 1-8: A unique blend of an international (Cambridge) and an enhanced Arabic curriculum.
• The school will launch KG to Grade 4 in Year 1 but will in time also offer Secondary education.

• Al Imtiaz offers a more traditional environment than ABQ’s other schools.
• The classes will be segregated for boys and girls from Grade 6 onwards.
• The curriculum will be a unique blend of international and an enhanced Arabic curriculum in Primary.

The school will be able to accommodate 1200 students from KG to Grade 12 but will initially only launch KG to Grade 4 in Year 1.

The school is in ABQ Azzan Bin Qais International School’s previous location in Bawshar

Three international schools, ABQ Azzan Bin Qais, ABQ Seeb and ABQ Sohar, and three standalone Pre-KG nursery schools in Muscat and Sohar. Al Imtiaz is the Group’s first bilingual school in Muscat.
